French Conjunctions 8 Apr 2022

Use these conjunctions to pair two thoughts into a single sentence, the second thought will then be in the subjunctive.  Using these will help your French flow and sound more authentic.
  • À condition que => Provided (that)
  • Ainsi que => As well as
  • Afin que => So that
  • Au-delà => Beyond
  • Bien que => Although/even though
  • Dont parmi eux => Of which among them
  • Pour que => So that
  • Pourvu que => As long as
  • Qui plus est => Furthermore
  • Quoique => Although
