More connecting words to help a sentence to be more complex and flow better:

• C'est en tout cas => It is, in any case
• C'est pour ça => That's why
• Certes => Certainly
• D'ici vingt ans => Within twenty years
• En dépit de => In spite of
• Lors de => During
• Par la suite => Afterwards
• Plusieurs => Several
